Daniel San! PDF Print E-mail
Well, the twins are about six weeks old now, and we're starting to get into the rythm of "double" parenting. This month, Diego is working extra, as he was offered the chance to do his "old job" from before we went to Africa in place of some different people that went on vacation or sick leave. So he accepted, but of course he couldn't just drop delivering the papers at night because of that. So he's working double, leaving home at 3.30 a.m. to deliver the papers, returning around six, then after breakfast and a shower (and picking up whichever baby is awake to give it a kiss and a little chat!) he goes off to work in the mail room at DNV for a full day from 8 to 4.....

Wow, being a twin mommy (and daddy!) really takes time! So even if we remember to click a few pictures here and there, finding time to download and edit them can be a challenge!

NEWS FROM GUINEA-BISSAU (AND NORWAY!) PDF Print E-mail

When you’re a missionary, you are lucky enough to get to experience things the majority of people don’t. Being pregnant in Guinea-Bissau was certainly one of those things. In a country where malaria and many other dangerous diseases are endemic, we realized we needed to fight these threats both physically and spiritually. So we enlisted as many people as we could to pray, and one very specific prayer request was for God to kill all the mosquitoes that made it into our house before they got around to biting us.....
